With our 1000m² flower mosaic and decorations along the route of the Tour de France Femmes, we highlighted the horticulture sector and local growers and traders. This caught the attention of both national and international media.
Colorful tribute from the Dutch horticulture sector to the female cyclists of the Tour de France Femmes
The Tour de France Femmes started in Rotterdam on 12 August and the first stage took the cyclists through the heart of Westland. Together with the Municipality of Westland, local growers and other organisations in the sector, we took a unique approach to highlighting the horticultural sector. And this resulted in plenty of national and international media attention!
We are convinced in the power of partnerships to strengthen the horticultural sector. That is why we often work with partners to draw attention to flowers and plants in new and inspiring ways. Dutch 'Trade Journal for Floriculture' in conversation with Yvonne Watzdorf on sector communication
Sector communication is one of our key focus areas. Recently, the Dutch Trade Journal for Floriculture had an in-depth discussion (in Dutch) with our Managing Director, Yvonne Watzdorf, about the goals and approach. "Flowers and plants truly serve a societal function. And we are going to make that so convincingly visible that people simply can't ignore it anymore."
Being Green Indoors and Floral Signatures: our upcoming autumn campaigns
This autumn, we are launching two campaigns: Being Green Indoors content campaign and a Floral Signatures video series. Both campaigns aim to inspire consumers and inform them about the positive impact of greenery in their lives. This includes well-being effects and tips from renowned floral artists from Germany, France and United Kingdom.
10th NIMA Horticulture Marketing Event In September, the 10th edition of this event will take place, focusing on 'Marketing & Sales Synergy: The Route to 2030'. Since we believe in sharing knowledge and assisting growers and traders in applying it, we find it important to contribute to this event. You can register here.

To inspire visitors to incorporate more greenery into their lives, we are offering a ‘Plant Bathing’ experience at the BNS Crisp stand during the vt living & design fair. This experience emphasizes the importance of greenery in living spaces and raises awareness about the well-being effects of plants. You can register here.

Flower Council of Holland at TFA From Tuesday, November 5th to Thursday, November 7th, the Trade Fair Aalsmeer will take place. Flower Council of Holland will also be present with a booth at the event.
The Flower Council of Holland provides with international consumer marketing and communication on flowers and plants on behalf of growers and traders in the Netherlands. The goal is to stimulate demand by inspiring and informing consumers about the positive effects of flowers and plants.
