Majority of trading companies also vote in favour of GBD 

In January, the majority of trading companies in the Netherlands voted in favour of introducing a General Binding Declaration (GBD) for the collective activities developed by the Flower Council of Holland. This means there is sufficient support among both growers and traders, as growers had already voted in favour of a GBD. If the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV) also approves the application later this year, the GBD will come into effect on 1 January 2025.

Spotlight on From Grey to Green from spring to autumn 

Outdoor plants will be receiving plenty of media attention from 1 March in the Netherlands and Germany. The campaign will continue to expand, in keeping with our new strategy. To reach as many consumers as possible, a wide range of media activities and channels will be deployed. The message is clear: a green living environment not only improves your own mental and physical health, but also the quality of life in your neighbourhood.
